case study 03
The client wanted to maintain a large enough area for their five children to play whilst introducing a more defined and sophisticated area for entertaining.
The gazebo offered structure to the garden and was positioned to act as a focal point. Cedar was the material of choice for the construction of the gazebo, pergola and elevated decks which were all connected by the sweeping natural stone cobble path.
Many of the trees and conifers were already in place and helped to set the woodland tone which was further developed by the planting of ferns, woodland hydrangeas and hellebores. Planting was specifically chosen to be robust and child proof.
