'hanwood' - contemporary woodland garden
The client brief was to add a contemporary Mediterranean touch to complement the individual architectural style of the house in it's contrasting woodland setting.
The design solution was to create a journey through linking spaces using the gardens two distinct levels. Uncluttered spaces with good structure and strong bold lines foil soft lush planting bringing all these elements together.
The large central scree area acts as a hub for the entire garden centred round a calming pool. Natural planting & materials used in the radiating areas help melt the garden into the surrounding woodlands. At night the garden becomes transformed by creative lighting.
