'st andrews place' - woodland town garden
The client required a sympathetic design that would integrate their newly constructed black timber studio with the yellow brick of their home. A large oak tree under a tree preservation order also needed to be considered.
The oak tree inspired the use of natural materials such as oak sleepers and natural stone. Bold woodland style plants complement the materials blending them seamlessly into the surroundings. A neutral colour scheme helped tie all the elements together.
As a family garden the connecting pathways facilitate freedom of use. Well planned lighting and a modern water feature add excitement to the entertaining space.
